THE CHAMPION GIRL CATHEXIS, SERIES II: SAM
Sam is dynamic creature, and therefore deserves a post all of her own. Unlike either Imogen or Vanessa, she is a complete chimera: generally, she is cosmopolitan and pragmatic, yet sinks into an enigmatic sexual persona with relative ease. Likewise, she has an Amazonian appeal, and looks as if she could squeeze a piece of anthracite coal into a diamond (or employ her breasts for the selfsame task); however, this is counterbalanced with her utter lack of malice or cruelty. After photographing this demi-goddess for almost four years, I’ve noticed there is a specific season where her gentleness is cultivated (by whichever lucky helpmeet or cupbearer assigned to change her sacred vestments): Christmas.
