ROSALIE WHYEL MUSEUM OF DOLLS
These were taken last year at the Rosalie Whyel Museum of Dolls in Bellevue, which is a self-proclaimed “mecca” for doll enthusiasts and collectors around the world. A bulk of the 1,200 + collection resides in little drawers (coffins, really) that you pull out from the wall. More importantly, you can experience this macabre museum for only seven bucks. I’ll be posting more dolls in this section in the next few days, so check back soon…
For some reason, I felt compelled to separate the older dolls from the toddlers and infants. I especially like the Charles Lindbergh doll, with his menacing grin…
