L.A. MANNEQUINS
These are some pictures I’ve snapped over the last two summers visiting Los Angeles. The scantily-clad waifs were shot in Pasadena, the middle shots come from Hollywood and Melrose, and the Saks Fifth Avenue alabaster alien models were captured whilst I walked around Rodeo Drive late at night (with fashionista Brian Vincent, who gave us a proper introduction). I am generally interested in photographing more life-like mannequins, but there was something eerily austere about these attenuated gals, with their merciless stares.
